The agreement between you and Runecast AI.

1The agreement

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form the agreement between you and Pulse Licensing Corp., a company incorporated in the Republic of Panama, of PH Metric, Vía Brasil, #18-B, Panama City, Panama, Republic of Panama, 7182 (“Runecast AI”, “we”, “us”), covering your use of the Runecast AI application and the runecast.ai website.

By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and forms part of this agreement.

2Definitions

• Service — the Runecast AI web application, its website, and everything we make available through them.
• Reading — any astrology, rune, oracle or numerology text, chart, image or audio the Service generates for you.
• Profile — a set of birth details (date, time, place) stored on your account, whether your own or another person's.
• Orbit — the social feed inside the Service, including posts, comments, reactions and mentions.
• Cosmic Circle — the connections you form with other members, and the sharing controls attached to them.
• Your Content — anything you create, upload or enter: posts, comments, photos, journal entries, Profiles and the birth details in them.
• Paid Plan — a subscription or one-time purchase, once purchases become available (section 12).

3What Runecast AI is — and what it is not

Runecast AI generates personalized astrology, rune and numerology content: readings, forecasts, comparisons between two charts, a daily learning game, a journal, and a social feed called Orbit. The underlying astronomical calculations are real and precise; the words around them are written by AI.

The Service's chat is deliberately configured to decline medical, financial, legal and crisis questions and to point you toward real help instead. That is a design choice we intend to keep.

4Everything you read here is AI-generated

Readings, chat replies, dashboard text, daily cards and the in-app “Runecast AI” persona's comments and reactions are written by artificial intelligence. The astrological, rune and numerology calculations are ours; the prose around them is generated.

AI-generated text can be wrong, inconsistent or strange, and it can sound confident while being inaccurate. Read it as what it is: generated, personal-feeling writing — not verified information about you or anyone else.

5Eligibility and age

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet that minimum and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

6Your account

• Give us accurate information and keep your email address current.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Do not share, sell or transfer an account.
• Tell us at legal@runecast.ai if you believe someone else has access to your account.

7Profiles for other people

The Service lets you create Profiles for other people — a partner, a family member, a friend — using their birth date, time and place.

By entering someone else's birth details you confirm that you have their permission, or that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that the person is a public figure whose birth data is already public.

You are responsible for the personal information you enter about other people. If that person asks us to remove their data, we will remove it. Do not use Profiles to harass, monitor, profile or make decisions about someone without their knowledge.

8Sharing, share links and connections

• Share links create a page anyone holding the link can open, without an account. Once you send a link you cannot control who receives it or what copies are made. Share only what you are comfortable making public.
• Cosmic Circle connections let you share readings with specific people, and you control per connection what each of them can see.
• Orbit posts, comments and reactions are visible to other members along with your display name and photo. Mentioning someone notifies them.

Think before you share a chart or a reading that concerns someone else.

9Acceptable use and Orbit conduct

Orbit is a small, personal place. Treat it that way. Do not use the Service to:

• harass, threaten, bully, stalk, impersonate or defame anyone;
• post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, violent or graphic content, or anything illegal;
• post other people's personal information without permission;
• present Readings to third parties as professional advice, diagnosis or prediction — including selling readings generated here as a professional service;
• spam, run advertising or schemes, or abuse referral, invite, streak or raffle mechanics;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or copy the Service, its content, its calculations or its prompts, or use them to train a machine-learning model;
• break the Service on purpose, bypass App Check, authentication or rate limits, use bots, or attack our infrastructure;
• upload malware or distribute malicious links;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report a problem to legal@runecast.ai and a human will look at it.

10Your content

You keep ownership of Your Content — your posts, comments, journal entries, photos and the Profiles you enter.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for display, translate and show Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you and to show it to the people you chose to show it to — your connections, Orbit, and anyone holding a share link you created. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already distributed by you and copies held in ordinary backups for a limited time.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

11Our content, and who owns a Reading

The Service — its software, design, brand, calculations, prompts, artwork, rune and astrology content — belongs to us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes.

Readings generated for you are yours to read, keep, print and share personally, including on social media. You may not resell them, republish them at scale, present them as your own professional service, or use them to train a competing model or build a competing service.

Third-party content shown in the Service — GIFs from Giphy, place data from Google, link previews from the sites you link to — belongs to its owners and is subject to their terms.

12Paid plans (not yet live)

12.1 What is planned

A free tier will remain free — the daily rune and daily horoscope, Orbit and the Cosmic Circle, and the daily learning game. Orbit will never be paywalled. That list is the floor, not the ceiling: the free tier as it stands today is broader, and the pricing page sets out exactly what each plan includes. Paid tiers are planned to add depth: expanding sections of a reading, chat, longer-range forecasts, audio, additional profiles and relationship readings.

Prices shown here are the prices we intend to launch with, in United States dollars (USD) and excluding taxes unless stated. The price displayed to you at checkout, in your own currency, is the price that governs. We may change prices for future billing periods; we will give you notice before a change affects a renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

12.2 Billing and renewal

• Subscriptions will be billed in advance for the period you choose and will renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• If you buy through an app store, that store handles billing, renewals and cancellations under its own rules, and your purchase is also governed by that store's terms.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend paid features until it succeeds.

12.3 Cancelling

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal — it does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep paid features until that period ends. After that your account returns to the free tier: your data stays, paid features stop. If you bought through an app store, cancel in that store's subscription settings.

12.4 Refunds

• Subscriptions: we would rather fix a problem than keep money from an unhappy member. You have 14 days from the date of a charge to ask for that charge back, in full, without having to justify it. Write to info@runecast.ai and tell us what happened. The full terms, including how long a refund takes and the cases we refund regardless of the window, are on the refund policy page, which forms part of these Terms.
• One-time readings: because a one-time reading is generated on demand and delivered immediately, it is not refundable once generated — except where the law says otherwise, or where the reading failed to generate or was not delivered.
• App store purchases: refunds are handled by that store under its own policy; we cannot issue them directly.
• Where the law gives you more: consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada and many other places have a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation, and the consumer-protection law of your own country may give you more again. Those rights apply on top of anything written here; nothing written here removes them, and neither does the fact that we are registered in Panama.

12.5 Trials and promotions

If we offer a trial or a promotional price we will state its length and what happens at the end. Unless we say otherwise, a trial converts into a paid subscription at the standard price unless you cancel before it ends. One promotional offer per person.

12.6 What paying does not change

Paid tiers change how much of the Service you can use. They do not make Readings more accurate, more predictive or more true. Section 3 applies equally to every tier.

13Third-party services

The Service runs on Google Firebase and uses OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, Google Places and Giphy, alongside our own astrology calculation server. We are not responsible for those services' availability or for content they return, and your use of features built on them may also be subject to their terms.

14Availability and changes

We are a small team. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will tell you and offer a fair remedy. The web app updates itself: when we deploy a new version, you receive it on your next visit.

15Suspension, termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, open Settings → General Settings → “Delete my account” in the app: you confirm twice, then the deletion runs and is permanent. You can also ask us to run it for you by writing from your account's email address to legal@runecast.ai. What is deleted, and the minimal record we keep, are described in section 10 of the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, creates legal risk, or attacks or abuses the Service. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. If we close a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 — continue to apply afterwards.

16Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Readings are accurate or correct, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any outcome will follow from anything you read here.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions; there, this section applies only as far as the law allows, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

17Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities;
• we are not liable for decisions you make based on anything the Service generated;
• our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and US$100.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumers keep every right their own law gives them.

18Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover us for claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, the content you post, or personal information about other people that you entered without permission.

19Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Panama City, Republic of Panama.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings where your law allows.

Before starting a formal dispute, please write to legal@runecast.ai. Most things can be resolved in an email.

20Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes — including the day purchases become available — we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms; if you do not, you can stop using the Service and close your account.

21General

If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something once does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, on notice to you. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
